Since we have been discussing excavation a lot this week I figured I would find an article that was tailored to this part of archaeology. Professor Joan Connelly and 8 undergrad and graduate students from New York University have completed the excavation of a field school known as Yeronisos island. This article was fairly short and honestly did not give a lot of detail. However what stood out to me was the image that was provided. It reminded ne of some of the lectures where the lay of the and was outlined. The Republic of Cyprus made the announcement of the excavation’s completion. The excavation was said to have provided information about the Ptolemaic rule in Cyprus. I didn’t understand much it if, but again there also m=was not much information to go off of.
