My name is Lindsay McCombie. I am currently going into my senior year here at Michigan State, and am majoring in Anthropology. I am from a little town called Addison, MI that only has a population of about 500 people. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, playing golf, and spending time with my family and friends. One fun fact about me is that I am spending the Summer working at a writing day camp.
In this class, I would like to learn more about women’s health issues around the world. I think that even in our country, medical issues that affect women specifically do not receive the research funding, and awareness that they deserve. I also am interested in the variety of medical systems that are found around the world. It is easy growing up in the U.S. to think that our way is the best way, but there is always something to learn from every medical system.
