My name is Kailyn Williams and I am a senior majoring in Anthroplogy with a minor in Bioethics, Humanities, and Societies. I am originally from the great city of Detroit, Michigan but I just recently moved to Ypsilanti. I am currently taking a gap year to work as a Behavior Technican and help kids who have autism. My goal is to get accepted into a graduate program for Social Work and hopefully get my Masters in Social Work within the next couple of years so I can help individuals who are affected with mental disorders. Outside of my school life, I love to draw. I’ve been drawing ever since I was a little kid, and it helps me to express myself in ways I feel I can’t do in real life. A fun fact about myself is that I have G6PD, which is a blood deficency that causes my red blood cells to break down in response to certain medications, infections, and other stressors. I would really like to learn how diseases and illnesses are percieved differently by women.
