I’m a Kiwi

Hi everyone! My name is Nikki Cheema and I am a senior women and gender studies major. I am Indian but I grew up in New Zealand and then my family moved to Holland, Michigan when I was 10, so I have had a very interesting childhood. I have taken a few anthropology courses before, included ANP 201 and 220. I found them both very interesting and always enjoyed doing the work for and attending those courses. I am taking this class because I need an elective and the topic of race has always peaked my interest. I am hoping I will enjoy this class just as much as my other anthropology classes! I chose the picture below because family is something that is very important to me.
