Biographical Info

I am a mortuary archaeology PhD student. I completed my M.A. at California State University, Chico in 2011 (Thesis: Taphonomic Signatures of Animal Scavenging in Northern California – A Forensic Anthropological Analysis). My primary research is in paleopathology, bioarchaeology, and mortuary archaeology. My dissertation examines the health and nutrition of a late 19th and early 20th century indigent cemetery from San Jose, California. I am the current MSU Campus Archaeologist.
