The Graduate Students in Anthropology is glad to announce the Third Annual GSA Graduate Research Symposium, which will be held Friday, February 2, 2018. During the event coffee and snacks will be available and lunch will be provided to participants and attendees.
We hope to follow the structure of year’s past with a morning session of graduate student research presentations, followed by faculty presentations in the afternoon. Presentations will be 10-15 minutes long, depending on the number of participants.
This is an excellent opportunity for students and faculty across sub-disciplines to connect. It is our hope that understanding the full breadth of research being conducted within our department will serve to broaden our views as anthropologists and initiate productive conversations among colleagues and interdisciplinary cooperation.
If you are interested in presenting your work, please send a presentation title and short topic description to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, January 1, 2018.
Location and time will be updated as soon as the information is available.
