PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

The P&J Studies specialization requires that a student complete a total of 15 coursework credits distributed as follows:

a. a core course at the 400 level (3 credits)

b. 12 elective credits to include:

  • 2 courses in a single thematic area of P&J
  • 9 credits at the 300 level or above
c. a Capstone Paper based on course work or independent research (approved by the P&J advisor). Click on Capstone Paper for details.

P&J Studies provides students with the flexibility to design programs of study uniquely suited to their interests and their majors. The specialization further encourages student involvement in internships, study abroad programs, and service learning opportunities. Courses taken to satisfy the P&J specialization may also be used to satisfy program requirements in the student's major.
