Hello! My name is Chloe Geary, and I will be a Senior starting in the fall semester. My major is Nutritional Sciences with a concentration in Global Nutrition and Health, hence my reason for taking this class. Before coming to MSU, I lived in Kalamazoo, MI. Outside of school, I am an advocate for MSU’s Sexual Assault Program, as well as the Historian for my professional chemistry fraternity, Alpha Chi Sigma. In addition to that, I love to run when the weather is nice, watch movies, bake and spend time with my friends! A fun fact about myself is that I am a recipient of the Kalamazoo Promise Scholarship (it’s pretty well known!). In this course, I hope to gain a better understanding of the disparities that women face in health care around the globe. I am really interested in global public health, so I hope this class can give me a greater insight into that subject!
