Co-President – Sydney Spaulding (she/her)

Sydney is a senior B.S. in Anthropology major who is also pursuing minors in Museum Studies, Art History and Visual Culture, and Leadership of Organizations. The subfields she is most interested in are archaeology, objects conservation, bioarchaeology, and museum collections care. She is also the president of the MSU Human Ancestors Program, a member of the MSU Dance Club, and a volunteer at the MSU Museum and in Dr. Sanchez’s zooarchaeology lab. Outside of academics she enjoys playing the flute, taking jazz/contemporary dance classes, going to food/drink festivals and concerts, visiting museums, and attending football, gymnastics, baseball, and basketball games. She joined the Undergraduate Anthropology Club to gain valuable professional experience and make friends with smart, fun, and interesting people.


Co-PresidentĀ  – Alison Weber (she/her)

Alison is a senior working towards two degrees: a B.S. in Anthropology and a B.S. in Human Biology, as well as pursuing a minor in Social Science Quantitative Data Analytics. The subfields she is most interested in are physical anthropology, forensic applications of physical anthropology, paleopathology, and genetics. Alison is also involved with MSU Women in STEM and the MSU Policy Debate team. Outside of academics she enjoys playing soccer, weightlifting, traveling, and listening to true crime podcasts. She joined the Undergraduate Anthropology Club to meet like-minded students and faculty while gaining professional experience in the field of anthropology.
